A year's worth of memories

I stumbled across this concept last year and throughout 2014 I continued to add to it. I'm not claiming this as an original idea but I thought, seeing as it is the 1st January, that I would share it.

Memory Jar

I bought a maison jar in the Conran Shop and each week I put in a piece of paper which had a good memory or an achievement written on it. An example of this is...

So on new year's eve I could open this jar and reflect on the ending year. Yesterday, I opened mine and it was a lovely way to end 2014, with all my favourite moments fresh in my head. You don't have to use a maison jar, you could DIY a jar or container of your choice. That way you could also make it a fun little project.

I leave you with all the best wishes for 2015; I hope your year is full of love, laughs and achievement. This is a picture of my jar from last year...
